If you are coming by bus (10mins from town centre) you should catch Thamesdown bus no 13 or 14 from the town center (Fleming Way) and tell the driver to drop you off at the Manor pub bus stop (you could even ask him to show you where the Seventh Day Adventist Church is). When you disembark from the bus you should walk toward the direction the bus came from to the traffic lights (robots) about 300meters from the bus stop. Cross the road at the traffic lights (but don't turn back toward the direction the bus went) and some 10meters or so to your left is Whitby Grove (there is also a post-office/news agent shop at the corner). About 20 or so meters to your right is the church.
The bus stops are shown on Google Maps at the highest magnification, just remember the bus coming from the town centre is travelling north (up on the map), and the Manor Pub stop is the next after the turn off for Whitby Grove.
There is a sign from the main road (Cheney Manor Road, B4006) which if you are lucky enough to be able to spot will get you straight there.
